We working girls in FiDi no longer have to aimlessly wander the streets (or the pages of Yelp) for a place to get our nails done the right way! Tenoverten has answered our prayers and opened a brand new salon at 121 Fulton Street, New York City.

The new, swanky space is the largest of all four Tenoverten salons (it’s 2,600 square feet!). But there are no signs pointing the way to the salon yet, so finding it may prove to be a challenge (the building is still going through renovations, F.Y.I.). So, to help guide the way, you must enter through the hidden door next to the 121 Fulton Street bar and restaurant and go up a flight of stairs.

Upon entering, you see that the space has a cool yet chic warehouse feel to it, with its copper fixtures and exposed lights. It contains 18 pedicure stations, each with its own custom-designed cork stool for the nail technician to better apply polish on our toes, 14 manicure tables, each with iPad drawers with charging stations, two treatment rooms for brow and hair-removal services, plus a private meeting space that can accommodate up to 20 guests for special events (birthday parties, bachelorette parties, and even business meetings—this is a hint to all other brands with events in mind, ha!).

In celebration of the new location, look to find a polish called Fulton, which is the perfect taupey-nude and which the brand launched over the summer. And there’s also Liberty, a neat shade of dusty-mint that is representative of our glorious Lady on the Hudson. Both pay tribute to the emergence of the lower-Manhattan-landscape revival.

As expected, most of the products used during any service are environmentally friendly. Right at the front of the salon is a retail space for founders Nadine Abramcyk and Adair Ilyinsky’s favorite natural personal-care brands (Grown Alchemist, Rahua, and RGB, to name a few). So if you haven’t already checked it out, go book an appointment now! It’s really the best way to end a hard day at work.

P.S.: There is more exciting news for those of you in Austin, Texas, as Tenoverten will be opening its fifth salon at the South Congress Hotel. Keep an eye out for that!
